I’m an independent author from the UK who spends a lot of time in my head conversing with imaginary friends, enemies and inhabitants of other lives, times and dimensions. All of these people and places are a dark reflection of the world as it is, which given the state of it right now, is pretty damn dark.
My novel, Anti-Virus, has had me ensnared me in its grim, dystopian world for a long time. From scribbles on scraps of paper, to notebooks, to digital media, it has clawed its way into a full-length novel. Whether I liked it or not.
I’m delighted to say that it will be published on 30th August. Or, as I have been saying all along, unleashed.
You can read about Anti-Virus here, on its own special page. You can hop on over to Goodreads to read reviews kindly shared by my ARC reader team, and then head across to Amazon to order your copy. I’m sharing the UK page, but it is available on all the Amazons, whichever one is suitable for you.
Join me for the journey, why don’t you? And if you have any questions or comments, please do get in touch via my most recent blog post. I’d be really happy to hear from you and have a chat!
Enjoy the read, wherever you are…
Good luck with the new blog!
Thank you, Hannah!

I’m glad you enjoyed it! Love yours – and commented suitably π
That is very introspective.
Yes, that’s my writerly persona. I spend A LOT of time in my head π
I love that idea of life in your head. Most of mine is spent there as well.
π Sometimes, it’s the best place to be!
‘and why they didnβt finish their dinner’… i love that line, what a wonderful thing to still retain some of that childlike innocence and imagination. i treasure mine, like you, i spent an incredible amount of my young life deep in my imagination.
just thought i’d visit a bit to thank you for liking my poem,
encouragement is always really appreciated.
Visit away – have a good delve! ‘ve not been blogging my writing for that long, but it feels like I’ve been doing it forever now. Thank you for taking the time to visit and comment. I’m looking forward to reading more of your creations π
Not a criticism of you, but an experience of mine: Half my life was spent “in my head”…
The second half spent outside of it–sort of helping others, ya might say. Second half LOTS better than first half.
I know we’re probably writing about different things here, but just had to tell someone…tonight. So THERE!
Thanks for writing such nice sentence on mine…I’ll go read yours now.
PEACE and LIGHT
Steve
Oh yes, spending too much time in your head can be a hindrance for sure! As for sharing your thoughts – please do π
Thank you for popping in!
The written word is a powerful tool; it fuels the imagination
bringing adventures to life, an authenticity that creates interest
and a wanting for more. Keep up the good work Freya.

I will do my best… It’s good to switch off from work and just… write!
Oooh, a nice twist in the tale. I’m beginning to think that letter box might be more than a letterbox. Perhaps a T.A.R.D.I.S. of some kind?
P/S I’m a bit confused though. Is it Samuel Robertson or Robinson?
Well spotted Lyn – whoops! Change made, they are now very obviously related!
Yes, that letterbox is more than it seems, I think!
Hi Freya. I don’t see a contact email so leaving a comment; Jon Simmonds, one of our editors, recommended your site for featuring in our magazine The Woven Tale Press. You can see latest issues here: http://thewoventalepress.net
I’m particularly interested in featuring these two posts, in our upcoming September issueβdelightful, concise, and beautiful sentiment and imagery in both:

Hi Sandra – Thank you so much for your message, and thank you to Jon for recommending my site to you. I would be honoured to have two of my posts featured in the September issue of The Woven Tale. I was delighted to see that an artist whose work I have seen in a local gallery (and love) is featured in your latest issue – Yvonne Coomber – her work is so vibrant and joyful!
Please feel free to email me at freyawrites@yahoo.com if you need to ask any questions or discuss anything with me.
Best –
Freya
Hello , I do like your blog, I had two imaginary frends when I was a child, Bill Bailey and Cuttysarka they never finished their meals either! They really embarrassed my poor mother when we were out and I would tell people “You can’t sit there Bill Bailey is sitting there!” Perhaps my friends are with yours? π
Perhaps they are with mine, yes! I love your friends’ names π
And thank you for the compliment- I really appreciate it!
It’s s pleasure. π
I love the innocence of the little girl and happy that as an adult that has remained, as far as the places of your three friends is concerned. :). Looking forward to reading and feeling your thoughts on the blog, as time permits. Cheers.
Thank you, Sandeep. I’m looking forward to following your work too. Lovely to ‘meet’ you! π
Nice to “meet” you too. :).
I absolutely LOVE your About!! How precious π
Thank you so much! π
