Liquid gold of crimson hue

Capsules bursting with sweet desire

Slake my thirst, bring joy anew

Your hidden gems set my heart on fire!

This week, Shanyn, our host at dVerse Poetics wants us to write tiny poems of 140 characters or less based on macrophotos, either hers, or our own. I love pomegranates – can you tell…?!

I hope you enjoy my offering – and please do join us! I will link up later and (cough permitting) add the audio tonight.

  3. I’ve never had much luck with pomegranates – leave my mouth all puckered up and full of seeds. But your picture and words make them appear so enticing…
